110MPH

Sorry for no recent post. I feel like I have been going 110MPH over the past few weeks! Between shooting my first wedding, Austin City Limits, moving apartments, and a crazy Voodoo Fest/Halloween weekend to come, it has been nonstop. Yes, you did read that right, I shot my first wedding! It was a great experience, cant wait to tell you all about it (and show you some pics.) By next weekend I will try and have a much needed post.

Jalapeños & Pineapples

A few weeks ago Lyndi and I saw a recipe for a drink that raised our curiosity. What's not to love? Sweet, spicy and tequila. The recipe is somewhat labor intensive, because of the fresh ingredients. But, it was worth it. 

You need 1 jalapeño, 1 fresh pineapple, 2 lemons, 2 limes, simple syrup, soda water, tequila and vodka. Muddle a few pieces of pineapple and jalapeño together in a glass. Then add the juice from one whole lime and one whole lemon. Add a few ounces of the simple syrup and a shot of both tequila and vodka. Mix everything together, pour over ice and fill the rest of the glass with soda water.
